6 Amazing Outdoor Spaces

With each day that stays a bit lighter out, and temps warm enough to put away the coats and sweatshirts, I can’t help but think about being outside and sitting in one of the 6 amazing outdoor spaces….especially since my backyard is still very much an active  construction zone….. with no shortage of Georgia red clay.

This is where we are currently. I have no doubt it is going to all look  amazing when we are finished….when. We did a few changes to the fire pit area and tied in the upper sitting area with some stairs. The plan also includes making some changes to the kids tree fort.

And as we work through our backyard project, I am inspired by these 6 amazing outdoor spaces. Each giving me a bit of inspiration (and hope) as we create our own amazing spot in the backyard.

I love the idea of a big wooden  table…. the pergola… the vine, and that lemon tree. image from here

And I think something like this built into the table would be perfect. (image credit pinterest)

Love this SheShed. This would be the ultimate place to get away….without leaving home,  wouldn’t it? Girls night in the shed!

This is a fabulous dining area and outdoor kitchen .  I love the mix of the stone walls and wood ceiling. I would probably bring in some color with the cushions. We intend on building an outdoor kitchen in one of our phases in our backyard renovation…. that’s if  phase 1,2,3 get completed.

Wow….what a pool……and pond.  I Love how the pool looks so natural, ties in with pond and is built into the landscaping.

I loved watching the transformation of my pal Savvy Southern Style’s outdoor pergola. It’s a beautiful addition to her back deck. I like the idea of using shutters as a privacy screen or to shield the sun.

This  amazing outdoor space from Stone Gable is such a wonderful place for entertaining, it’s huge.  Just think, I would be able to invite all 500 people in my little town over for a barbecue. What I really love, besides the pavers and the different levels, is this idea. Placing outdoor torches into flower containers.

  1. Awe, thanks sweet friend for sharing my deck. I can’t wait to use it again soon. The shutters kind of broke, but I hope Doug can fix them. I can’t wait to see your back yard!

  2. Your outdoor space is huge and already so pretty! Can’t wait to see what else you do! I am in love with that stone patio with the outdoor kitchen photo. I would love to do something like that with our backyard. Right now we just have a deck, which is large but could use some freshening up. Last year when we started our kitchen reno, we had thought about tearing off the deck and replacing it with a patio. Then of course we ended up changing out our flooring and a bunch of other stuff in addition to the kitchen. Needless to say, my husband was done spending money for awhile. I will have to live vicariously through you! Enjoy your weekend!
