One Room Challenge Favorites

Wowza. I really enjoyed reading the entries in the One Room Challenge.  A 6 week challenge to redo a space. The reveal was last week and I picked 6 of my One Room challenge favorites. I’m totally inspired and blown away by some of the designs…and the commitment to get it done.

This was probably one of my favorite makeovers, this boys bunk room here.  The colors, the design, the cuteness factor. My kids tend to have regular ‘sleepovers’ in the house, so this idea would fit the need everyday without having to drag the mattress’s, blankets and pillows from one room to another.

Followed by this gorgeous bedroom here. I must admit, as much as I love my bedroom, I can see myself sleeping in this one. I  love every detail in this room. From the headboard to the bedding, to the curtains. Everything.

Laundry room here. This laundry room went from worse chore in the house to now the best.

Nursery here…makes me wish I had a small one again….not really, but this nursery is precious.

Powder room here. I really like how the mix of colors and pattern in this tiny space were used.

Homework area here. I would love a set up like this in the house for my kids. Simple. stylish and practical.

There were so many amazing spaces, and tons to see and I didn’t have time to go see all of them. Quite frankly, I was too busy working on my own 49 week challenge. If you follow me here, I showed you a peek over the weekend.

I wonder if I should enter next year…if they change the 6 week rule.

I hope you enjoyed my One Room Challenge Favorites. Which one was your favorite?

  1. The laundry room is to die for! That will be the only expansion info the footprint of our new house. I want a huge laundry space and this style is right up my “dirt road driveway”!

    1. ‘Of our footprint’ not “info”……..proofreading is not something I do well (or at all really) .

  2. I have to say that I really enjoy reading your posts. You make me laugh out loud sometimes. Also, that master bedroom was a dream. The rug made it.

  3. I have to say, I’m a fan of the boy’s bedroom as well! When we remolded our first home, we purchased bunk beds for the kids. However, these bunk beds are to die for! Such an adorable room. Those boys probably feel like it’s a jungle gym/fortress! That’s awesome:D

  4. I think I read almost every entry and I was amazed each time at everything people can get done in six weeks.
