Look in your Linen Closet

The next time you want to cover your table, consider using an unused curtain panel or plain white sheet, I have done it several times. It works just as well as a tablecloth. You can see the details of this table and some last minute table tips here.

 Remnants work wonders

I love using fabric remnants to cover my tables. I bought this fabric for my Fall front porch pillows and had a little extra. Well a lot extra. Seems I’m not very accurate with my measurements. No worries though, It’s a perfect use of left over material.

 Use Place mats

Place mats can double as a table runner and be assembled quick and easy. Just place several together across your table. Use your plates or other table objects to secure them in place. These are actually the backside of the place mats since I wanted brown on the table.
