For the record…..it’s hot pink and it could be yours!

Oh, how I so wish we could craft together, here in my newly transformed craft room.

We could sit here talking about the latest in burlap trends, mod podge projects and …..

the color of the rug.  You see, when I posted my craft room reveal here, some of you dear friends congratulated me on a job well done and how much you loved the RED rug. What….. although the rug in red would be a stunner!!
I must tell you that I love this hot pink rug so much, that I ordered another identical rug for my little girls bedroom. I feel both spaces were totally transformed with this chic …..pink rug. I wanted durability and color in both rooms, and this rug does that.

So, I am setting the record straight today not only with the color but giving you a chance to win a $150.00 credit towards any Mohawk rug, so you can get your own hot pink, red or whatever style and color rug you want.
That way, there’s no confusion and we can get back to talking about something else!

Just leave me a comment below telling me what room you could use a new carpet in. That’s it.  For extra entries, leave me an additional comment telling me you shared with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. One entry for each share
Contest ends on June 14th. Winner will be chosen and notified via email, so please leave me your email in your comment. If I don’t have it and you show up as a no reply, I won’t be able to contact you and have to give the rug to someone else. Boo hoo.

Good luck and let’s get back to crafting!

This contest is now closed.
PS- More contest rules and disclosures. I was provided a Mohawk rug in exchange for this review, but all opinions about my pink rug, are just mine.

  4. Oh goodness, I thought it was red too! I love that rug and how it accentuates the room. If I would win, I would put the rug in our den. The current rug has been there since 1998 – yes – that long….and it is time for a change. ps – so glad I'm receiving your posts again! The feedburner issue hit me hard with the various blogs I read. It's good to be back 😉 my email is janeyjb@aol.com…just in case.

  5. I recently glassed in and enclosed an old ugly screened-in porch! This would look great on my new "do!"

  6. I love the design in that hot pink rug and I could use one in my craft room also. I have painted concrete and that rug would be ideal in front of my sitting area.

  7. Love your awesome craft room Laura! I can see how people may see pink depending on their monitor but either way red, hot ink it makes the space pop! I think if I won I would use it for a new rug in the foyer.

  8. I am happy, happy that Feedburner is now working. And your rug is such a nice design. I would love that in my living room but maybe a different color to go with the orange, gray and teal in the room.

  9. I love the hot pink rug, it adds so much pizzazz to the room, and that is why I really need a rug for my master bedroom. I recently bought a new spread and curtains, a beautiful gray, I'm using pillows for color but it's not enough, it really needs a rug.

  10. Love the giveaway, Laura, and shared on my fb page. We're actually thinking of an outdoor rug for our new deck so that's probably what I would pick. Love the pink, though I'd never get away with it with my hubby!

  11. That craft room, and rug, are fantastic!! What a great space for crafting! I would love to add a new rug in my to-be-updated basement family room. (wreinwald@neb.rr.com)

  12. I hope this doesn't upset you, but I love the rug and I have just finished redecorating my porch and recovered my cushions with a hot-pink, lime–green chevron print and have accents of hot pink and the green. I haven't gotten to the rug part yet and this is absolutely what the "doctor" ordered for my porch. Would be so appreciative to win this!

  13. I would definitely use it in my daughter's room. It sooo needs to be redecorated now that she is not here.

  14. I would use it in my family room where I am installing hardwood flooring. It would be a beautiful addition.

  15. I would love an orange rug just like that one for my sunroom. My living room is dark and nothing I do lightens it up which makes my husband happy. He's disabled so spends alot of time watching TV. My sunroom is open to my living room and that's where I have my sunshine and color and can still be able to hold a conversation with him or be close by if he needs me.

  16. Beautiful rug! My son-in-law and daughter are in the process of going thru adoption of their 4 year old niece, Breanna. Sweet little girl (already calls me Nana), her mama passed away last week after a long illness. My daughter has 4 sons and has always longed for a girl. Never imagined this would be the avenue but God works in mysterious ways. This rug would look awesome in her room when they start getting it ready for her.

  18. You have inspired me tremendously! I am just entering the third trimester of my pregnancy and since I'm going to be huge… and living in NC in June, July and August… I've got to get my craft room finished before baby girl arrives! It will be a great activity to do in the AC and some fun color on top of my beige floors would be great! hokiegirl306@gmail.com

  19. I adore your craft room and your pink quatrefoil rug! I have a similar design in beige in my family room, and I absolutely love it. I really don't have a particular space in mind for a rug, but that's not gonna stop me from trying to win one. I'm sure I could rearrange and redecorate something and find a spot. Hmmm….

  20. I just finished painting a wooden tabletop for my front porch….same quatrefoil design, but in black and white. A rug with that pattern would be such a plus. It would also be gorgeous in another color for my bedroom. Totally love that pattern.

  21. I could use a new rug on our covered back sun porch. We just got it cleared off and re-arranged, so pink would be a bright addition to our lime green and bright yellow accessories! Our daughter would love it for her bed room, too! What a wonderful thing to enjoy!!

  22. Oooooh la la! Who couldn't use a rug like that just about anywhere! I think my great room would be the lucky recipient! Thanks so much, Laura!

  23. I like both of your rugs but since pink is my absolut favorite color I am partial to it. I would love to have a new rug for my guest room that I am just starting to redecorate. That would really add some pizzaz.

  24. It does look red on my monitor but who cares? It is gorgeous in red or in hot pink! I love your crafting space and I DO wish I could craft with you there.
    Blessings,
    Patti
