Make an old Bird Bath Pretty Again

Years ago I made over a birdbath and through the years it has served all the birds around Duke Manor Farm well. Make an old birdbath pretty again and turn it into a beautiful spot for your birds to hang out.

Make an old Bird Bath Pretty Again

It’s been 8 years since I originally shared this birdbath makeover. Through the years it has not only served the birds well, but it has aged gracefully.  I considered giving it a refresh but kinda like the look of the weathered finish. The inside where I used broken plates and mortar has held up nicely. Although it could use a good scrubbing, the birds don’t seem to mind or complain one bit.

Besides, it still looks so much better than it originally did before the makeover. Don’t you think?

Today the Home & Decor Encore gals and I  are sharing inspiring DIY  ideas to hopefully inspire you for your next project. Click here to see last week’s Christmas in July inspiration and here to see all my Encore ideas.  Just click the links below to get started.
