Welcome to this months home decor challenge where I will share 6 project ideas using 1 yard of fabric. I am joining my pals who are also sharing their projects and those links will be at the end of the post.
One yard of fabric can really transform the look of something in your home. From lampshades to an old outdated chair, a yard of fabric will go along way to create a beautiful piece. I have put together 6 project ideas using 1 yard of fabric that I have done here at Duke Manor Farm. They are projects that are easy, inexpensive and that completely changed the look in my space. Create a custom lampshade like the one I did for Lily’s bedroom here
or use the fabric to create cuteness inside the nightstand by lining the drawers.
I used 1 yard of fabric to create a fireplace screen for my fireplace when it wasn’t working. I love this project. It is so easy and inexpensive to create.
I just love the way you can transform a table with some fabric like I did here on this Mothers Day tablescape, by creating a table runner. Think about the possibilities and the different looks you can create with 1 yard of fabric.

All beautiful ideas! I love your daughter’s room! Do you have a tutorial on your table runner? I’ve been wanting one forever but just can’t find one I like so I might as well pick my own fabric. I’m just the kind who needs directions to follow~I can do it, I just don’t have a creative mind, lol.
