Fall Decor Ideas

Just as the autumn leaves will soon be flying around every where outside, there’s a little bit of fallacious going on once you come inside these doors along with some fall decor ideas.

I had no special theme or color planned this year, just things that I had ( other than a cart full of blue velvet pumpkins from Hobby Lobby and some pillows that I purchased) that make me welcome my very favorite season of the year.

And while in no particular order of ‘fallness’, each reminder of fall around the house, gives me plenty of reasons to smile and be grateful.

Fall Decor Ideas

Sprinkle cute little pumpkins around your existing decor for an instant fall look

Twist some floral stems together for a quick and easy fall wreath. Flank the mantel with some bunched of wheat.
Put mini pumpkins and gourds in a basket and place it in the kitchen.
With a gold sharpie, projector and canvas board you can make a piece of art to serve as a focal point during the fall season. Instructions can be found here.

Wheat grass, leaves and rattan pumpkins line the family room mantel. For more fall mantel ideas click here.
Use pretty throws and fall pillows.

To keep the look simple I filled blue vases with natural fall stems on the Dining Room table.

Don’t be afraid to pair the traditional fall orange with other colors in the house.

Use what you have and what you love.

Now…… who wants pie?

When you think of Fall, what makes you smile?

Grateful
to spend next week with my husband and kids on fall break

  1. Your pops of orange and blue are very pretty for the Fall. Your kids get a "Fall break"? I've heard of that in some counties, but my kids have never gotten one. They don't have time off until Thanksgiving.
