Simple Classic Holiday Entrance

I love simple, red and classic, and so do my front doors…obviously. My simple, classic, holiday entrance

For most of the month I have been looking at my front entrance thinking something was missing, like it wasn’t quite finished, so I went back to other holiday doors that I did in the last few years, and noticed that the theme was relatively the same, simple and red.

This year I added some prelit trees from here and sprayed the bases red. Made a couple of bows and stacked them on the wreaths. I added the polka dot bows when I decided to step up the simple, mid way through the month. Pulled out my old vintage sled and a bundle of twigs for the side entrance. Easy.

So again this year, simple wins. Who knows, maybe next year I will dial up the simple meter….or just stick with what my doors prefer.

  5. Laura your whole entrance is absolutely beautiful! Love the wreaths on your doors with just the red bows and those pretty trees too!! I used a simple mixed greens & holly swag on our front door this year and just added a big red velvet bow.
