What snow in Georgia…in December looks like

What snow in Georgia…in December looks like

Something rather unusual happened last Friday, it snowed. In December. In Georgia. Yes, such a rare occurrence deserves a little attention.    The weather man said it was coming but it wouldn’t stick. Something about the ground being too warm. Well guess what, it did. Nobody expected it. In fact there are a few counties out of school today and homes still without power. I wonder what they think of the weather man this morning!

Being all excited and giddy like, I grabbed my phone and snapped a few pictures from around Duke Manor Farm. Mainly cause it was so pretty and I wanted you to see it.

Isn’t this the dirtiest snowman you have ever seen? My kids were bound and determined to use up every flake in the area to build him!
