Weekly wow’s- A love note, Spring table, breakfast idea, garden markers

Thank for joining another addition of my Weekly Wow’s. Today I am sharing 5 amazing ideas…..a sweet love note,  spring table, breakfast idea and creative garden markers.

Best read of the week here …..What Would My Mom Do?

a sweet love note from my little man that I found in my bedroom this week

Clever and pretty way to hide those not so pretty but necessary electronics from Housepitality Designs

This Spring table design from Bree at Rooms For Rent Blog just speaks to me every time I look at it. The simplicity, the flowers, the twig chargers, the white plates……

I plan on making some of these for our spring and summer garden. Details here.

These look so delicious…. I want to lick my monitor. My blogging pal Nancy from Artsy Chicks Rule has launched a new food blog here and I would say from looking at this, it will be a success…or I have licked my screen for nothing and looked foolish while I was doing it.

I hope you have a super fantastic weekend. I will be on Spring Break next week with the kids, so I will be having fun spending time with them. I will be checking in on  Facebook and Instagram  throughout the week and would love for you to follow along.

Talk you soon!

grateful
for love notes and time with the kids

  1. Such a sweet note! I just melt when my kids write me notes. So special! I also read that "What Would Mom Do" article this week. It's funny how much things have changed over the years isn't it? Have a great spring break with your family!

  3. Happy Saturday Laura….my heart still skips a beat when I read that most precious note. Love Bre's gorgeous table and I could lick the screen too at that amazing stack of pancakes…Great, great garden markers…and thanks so very much for presenting my easy DIY TV Disguise! Have a great weekend!

  4. You'll keep that note won't you? Show it to Jacob when he gets older? That is so touching, bless his heart. If only they kept those feelings when they get to be teenagers. lol. Well they most likely do keep those feelings but they tend to get pushed in back of minds when you have difference of opinion about something they want to do when they're teenagers. Having raised 4 of those rascals I can say they tell me they love me now. Oldest boy (52) and youngest girl (45 in few days) tell me more than rest of them. Really gets to the old heart when they express their feelings to us. I am happy to say I survived living with 3 teenagers all at once. Three oldest kids were pretty close in age so were teenagers at same time. At the time wasn't too sure would survive but did. I had early menopause (and it wasn't pretty) due to hysterectomy at 31.
Enjoy your time with your kids, they grow up much too quickly.
Now I'm hungry for pancakes, look so good. Hubs had all his teeth taken out and we're having to be quite creative finding things to feed him.

  5. Oh the note is the absolute best Laura!!! Those melt my heart and I have some just like it!! A treasure, for sure! I miss those days!! Mine are all grown up now.
Thanks so much for sharing my pancakes and my new blog too!! 🙂
Hope you have a great Sunday!!
