DIY Summer Car Wash and Parade

The Aquafresh brand has compensated me in connection with the statements made in this post.
There are a few things we take pretty seriously around Duke Manor Farm. Two of them…. our sparkly bikes, and our sparkly teeth. I know you are probably scratching your head and wondering how in the world my DIY summer car wash and parade has anything to do with sparkly teeth, but it does, trust me and I’ll get to that in a minute.

There’s never a dull moment around Duke Manor, including our 4th of July festivities. A few years ago my husband made a car wash for the kids (I will give you the details at the end of the post) to bring through their big wheels and little tikes cozy coupe (#missthosedays) and for just overall water fun on those hot summer days. Since then, they have grown and now the car wash has evolved into a full blown out 4th of July water parade with the kids on their bikes, scooters, skateboards and even the occasional pogo stick. I told you, never a dull moment.

My husband and I will sit on the front porch with our guests ( that’s grandma and grandpa on the bench) waving our flags and watch the kids cycle through the car wash, for what seems like a gazillion times, pretending to put on a parade for us. It is so much fun for them, and so darn cute for us to watch and witness the pure excitement that our children get from this annual…. wet tradition.

Our bikes aren’t the only thing sparkling around here…so are our teeth, thanks to good oral care and Aquafresh® Multi-Action toothpaste.

And unlike our fun yearly water parade tradition every 4th of July, taking good care of our teeth by providing Sugar Acid Protection, provided by fluoride, to strengthen and shield teeth against sugar attack from everyday foods and drinks* that can cause cavities. This is so very important, so that we can see these big old smiles for many more parades in the future from my kids……and the dog.
