3 easy and fun snack ideas using candy bark.

Candy bark is also referred to as candy melts. The bark comes in one big piece and the melts come in small individual pieces although they both do the same thing and taste the same. You can pick them up both in the baking section of your grocery store. All of the ideas below used the same concept just by melting the candy bark.

Easy Halloween Candy Bark recipes

Candy-coated marshmallows

Melt your candy bark or candy melts and tip the end of the straw into the bark. Insert the straw into the marshmallow. The melted candy acts as glue to secure the straw to the marshmallow. After they dry, dip the end of the marshmallow into the melted candy bark. While still a bit wet, sprinkle some orange and black sprinkles around the marshmallow. Place on wax paper to dry.

Candy-coated cookies

I followed the same steps here to make these ghostly-inspired cookies. Melt the candy back, coat the cookies, and put on some eyes. To spook it up a bit, I had some fun by adding red food color to the candy melt mixture for blood…. although nobody was really freaked out.

Candy-coated popcorn

This is the ultimate for the party guest that loves a great sweet and salty treat.  After I popped up some popcorn I drizzled the melted candy mixture into my bowl lightly tossing it around to get the combination onto all the popcorn. I topped it off with these eyeballs in a black cauldron

Did I mention all of these snacks are kid and animal approved? Just ask my favorite unicorn.
