My kids are on Fall break this week and what better time to host a ‘Pre-Halloween’ bash for them and their pals. The idea was sparked by some cute pillows that I picked up at At Home a few weeks ago. I picked up a few other things to help usher in fall. You can see a few of my ideas here.

Fun Halloween Decor
I decided to set up the Halloween party on the screen porch. With my new pillows and a few of my own, the room instantly began to look like Halloween. Since my room and sectional are neutral, it’s fun to decorate with a variety of colors each season. As soon as I pulled out some decorations from the stash it was spook game on.
The couch is anchored with some new black and white geometric pattern with pom-poms. I added the orange and black pillow covers with some new Halloween appropriate ( cat, skull and boo) pillows to complete the look.
Typically I have a navy striped rug in here, however I replaced it with a black striped rug. This help with all of the black that I brought into the room.
Something else I did since you saw the room last here was to cut the legs on some old wood bar stools and use them as side tables and extra seating if needed….and to hold Lurches head. Got him at the Dollar Store.

Are you kidding? I could spend 100$ in At Home in no time at all. I love their pillows, their Christmas decorations, their blankets and their rugs. My screened porch is decorated from their store. I would love to freshen my Christmas decorations for the upcoming season the most though! 🙌🏻🎅🏻🎄
