Use Fresh Blooms

Use fresh blooms in fall colors to create beautiful centerpieces. I used my summer wreath as a base and added these pretty blooms to create this centerpiece. I love the rich plum color. Here are some others that I love using traditional fall colors.

Add some pillows and throws

Fall is the perfect time to drag out those  throws and pillows…and not feel quilty about having too many. Nothing better then a soft, cozy throw when the days get shorter and a bit cooler. I used these last year in my fall tour in the family room. I love them because they looked like they were knitted by someones grandmother.

Use Nature

Take advantage of the nature right outside your window and clip some tree branches to bring outside. Snip them, place them in a vase and add water and they will last for several weeks.

Use what you have

Mix your everyday pillows with rich jewel colors and traditional colors from the season to  help usher in Fall in your indoor areas. Don’t forget to use potted mums instead of cut flowers in your space. As long as they are watered and have some light they will be just fine for the season.

Create a beautiful tablesetting

Use non traditional methods to cover your Fall table. For this table I used a wall tapestry that I found inexpensively here. You can also use a throw ( first picture)  , curtain panel or fabric remnant to style and set a beautiful fall table. Get more ideas here.
