The Georgia sun is brutal. I am sharing budget-friendly shade options for the hot sun that have helped around Duke Manor Farm.

Having a pool to cool off in the hot summer months has been wonderful. Sitting in the hot summer sun, not so much. Since we installed our backyard pool four years ago I have relied heavily on umbrellas to keep us protected from the sun. Our future plans included building a permanent structure to help keep us comfortable while we are around the pool. Until then it’s fun and budget-friendly umbrellas with lots of sunscreen.
