The best Farmhouse table and love story
Not only do I have an amazing husband, but I also have a great farmhouse table that has recently made it’s way from my husbands office back down to the breakfast area . I am such a lucky gal in more ways then one and today I want to share the best farmhouse table and love story with you.
See this farmhouse table is very symbolic to our love and our relationship…and how our love story began. I will never forget that Fall night exactly 15 years ago today, I went to his house for dinner. He had set this table with beautiful flowers, wine and mismatched plates ( who knew he would be trendy years later) . We had lobster by candlelight. Music in the background. It was perfect.
It was at that very moment underneath that table, that I knew I loved this man……and that he and his table were a keeper.
18 years later that table now sits in our breakfast room filled with the voices and laughter of our 3 children that sit around it ….and full of love. And although the color of the room is different and the style has changed, the one thing that has remained a constant is our love and that table. Besides,I’m thinking that any man that’s a great cook and carves that he loves you into the leg of a beautiful wood table has got to be the one…. even with his cheesy one-liner!

Aw……that is the SWEEETEST story! I would have to agree with you that he is a keeper. That table is too, btw. I love the chunky legs. Now you know you can never sell it!
