My Love Story and Easy Valentine Art

I always tell my husband that I wish I knew him my whole life. He says…..“you have”.

When you love someone,
all your saved-up wishes start coming out.
– Elizabeth Bowen –

He tells me we are soul mates and destined to be together….
I say ” I know”

Real love is feeling like being a part of that person’s
life almost isn’t enough. It’s more like a feeling that
you would live in the same skin with them if you could
and share every thought, heart beat, and emotion as one.
– Rod Cannon –

And when we married….we said  “I do”

One woman, one man
with hearts so true
come before you
to say I do…

He takes her hand
to have and to hold
Their hearts embrace
and never let go…

The love of one man
The love of her life
They join as one
as Man and Wife…
– Gretchen Gould –

And then one day our love story grew….  into a beautiful family

Love is when you look into someone’s eyes,
and see everything you need.
– Kristen Kappel –

This sequins heart represents how every other project and craft is done in our home, regardless of how big or small….with love, heart and purpose. Memories, that will create stories for our book….. that we will be reading for a lifetime.
And each day, I look forward to turning the pages in this wonderful story of love!

Valentine Sequins Heart

easy valentine art

Supplies needed:
Canvas
chalkboard paint
glue
Sequins- I used 2 1/2 packs for this heart
Paint Pen
Chalk

Step 1: Apply chalkboard paint to a blank canvas board. Allow to dry.

Step 2: Trace a heart on your board. I used this heart as a template.

Step 3: Secure the sequins inside the heart with a hot glue gun. I started with the outline first and then worked my way inside the heart.

Step 4: Continue overlapping the sequins in the heart until it is completely filled.

Step 5: I used a paint pen to write the ‘X O’. Use a piece of chalk to season the board.
