Is it really??? Fall Ideas to start thinking about.

When I saw the Christmas stuff up at a national big box store the other day ( big yikes), I knew it wasn’t too early to start thinking about Fall….even though the slippy slide hasn’t been put up yet and the kids are swimming in the pool every day and night. But I think it’s when I saw the candy corn at the Dollar General, I considered that my green light.  And so to help ease you into fall, some of my pals and I have put together some of our favorite fall ideas & projects.

By the way, my front doors are going to look a lot different this year with the new color change on the house. Click here for a peek.

  1. When the temps went to the 80's this week I celebrated!…Too many days in the high 90's for us, so I am ready for Fall….I so love finding great inspiration from your Fall decor…and those gorgeous Fall wreaths that you always make are going to look fabulous with your new look for the front doors!

  2. Neat ideas—I Pinned a few. Decorating for fall is right behind my love of Christmas. I think it has to do with most everything being 'natural'. Love that!

Have a great week! Are you still enjoying time with your mom?

  3. I can barely think of fall in these warm temps. Christmas? Not a chance.
I pinned a few ideas for my porch though. Can't resist.

  4. Went to some yard sales this past weekend, picked up 3 things for Fall decorating. Hubs is already hollering, no Fall decorations in house til middle of Sept. I love Fall for colors and it lasts more than one day or week. Fall decorations can cover long period of time up thru Thanksgiving, love that. Don't have to take stuff down for much longer, can maybe make it prettier, add to Fall decorations.
Usually we spend lot of summer time at local state park lake but haven't been one time yet. Usually it's warm enuf here to go to lake most of Sept. but weather has been different this summer. We go on my b/d in July but it was raining this year, oh poo. Hubs not crazy about going so I'd take youngest grand daughter and dog who loves to swim. Not this year.
Kids here started school last Monday/3rd. Stupid. Sure cuts down on fun time. Is still pretty hot here, 80's-high 90's. ach.
Before we know it fall will be here so will try to enjoy summer little more.
Have to admit loved seeing all the gorgeous Fall decos. Time to start piling up with faux pumpkins and picks.
    Happy week

  5. Love the inspiration and look forward to seeing what you do this year! Yes, this chick is ready for cooler temps, too (even though I'm not quite ready to goodbye to Summer) … our Fall bins are waiting to pulled off of the shelves … gotta get my Fall "mojo" going!
