New flooring for the Guest House

I truly believe that when you least expect it…..new flooring for the guest house will show up at your door.  Yup, all 50 something boxes, thanks to the great folks at Golden Select.  I feel like I  finally hit the flooring jackpot. And no, you didn’t miss the big guest house reveal that I told you about here…..it just never happened, because I never quite finished. The new flooring may be just what I need to get it done. Here’s a peek though of what I have finished.

Currently the floors are painted in a gray primer as a temporary and quick fix, over a checkered board pattern that I painted about 6 years ago that was starting to look a bit worn and scratched.

After viewing all of the choices on the Golden Select web site, I chose the most amazing laminate flooring called Silver Spring.  With a grayish color and a barn wood look, it will be perfect for the floors in the guest house.

Big improvement….Don’t you think?

 According to my contact at Golden Select and the installation video, the new flooring for the guest house should be a breeze to install, which is a good thing since my mom is showing up at the end of the month….expecting some pretty new floors. I better get moving!

I look forward to showing you the installation process and the final reveal in a few weeks. Gotta get trips to the lake and vacation to the beach out of the way first.
