Creating A Glam Holiday Tablescape

I was putting together my Dining Room table last week for my annual holiday party, I was hosting for my girlfriends. Initially it was going to be a sit down dinner kinda thing, and then I opted for casual and informal…. jeans, Dixie plates and red solo cups….cause that’s really how we roll around here.

And although I didn’t use this exact Glam Holiday tablescape , I wanted to share it with you because I thought it was so pretty and elegant.

Ideas for Creating A Glam Holiday Tablescape

Everything on the table is from my stash, except for the ornaments and birch like runner that I bought this season, which are actually place mats that I secured together with a little glue. I then scattered around the silver trees, votives , and small vases around the middle of the table.

The blinged out ornaments are from Walmart. I just love the sassy heel, crown and Eiffel tower. I wish they had more heels, I bought the last one.

About 10 years ago I bought up a set of 16 of the ruby glass dinnerware after Christmas. I just love the color.

I always look forward to the holidays so that I can dress up the table all fancy  like and bring out my favorite dishes and glasses. And even though I almost did this year…… there’s always  another time and excuse to have another  party.

    1. Aren’t mother in laws great!!!!!?? Years before she passed away at 88, she gave me ALL of her cranberry glass. Site wear, plates, dessert plates. I leaped off the floor when she opened the cabinet door. You see, I didn’t know she had so many. Since then, my husband has found some beautiful bake stands, etc. Shirley, I love your RED!! I enjoy your blog. Sincerely Lynda Land
