Does this ever happen to you….guests are coming and you are going a mile a minute to get ‘stuff’ done? Yup, that would be me this week. My mom and sister are coming for the kids piano recital next weekend so of course it has motivated me to get some projects completed. Guests coming is really good motivation for me.

Bathroom Update

Speaking of projects….we started the guest bath renovation that I told you about here. Next week I will share some of the demo and more progress but basically after one day last weekend this is where we ended up. Our goal is to have it finished by the time company shows up next Friday…… We are highly ambitious.

Finally….Rockers

After years of wanting rockers for the front porch, my hubby got his way. I retired the previous wicker furniture ( which was an anniversary gift 11 years ago) to the back porch and bought these cute cushions for them.  On the rockers, I’m not going to use seat cushions so I don’t have to freak out anytime one of our animals wants to sit and rock. I will also be using pillows that I have had. The rockers are from Lowes and so far am impressed with the look and quality. I chose the natural color so it would work with my front doors. 

A good before and after
