Reveal of my waterproof hardwood flooring

Reveal of my waterproof hardwood flooring from Twenty & Oak in my Den, Gameroom and bedrooms.

It’s reveal time and I couldn’t be more excited to share how beautiful my new Raintree waterproof hardwood floors from Twenty & Oak look in the house. As you know I replaced the carpet from the Den and kids bedrooms and the tile from the game room after 17 years.  t was time and I can not believe what a difference new flooring has made in those spaces.

I PARTNERED WITH TWENTY & OAK FOR THE INSTALLATION OF OUR NEW RAINTREE WATERPROOF HARDWOOD FLOORING.  ALBRIGHTS FLOORING IN LOGANIVILLE, GA PROVIDED THE DEMO AND INSTALLATION.  AS ALWAYS, ALL OPINIONS AND IDEAS ARE 100% MINE!

The Den

What I love about the Aspen Estates Crevasse is how well it works with a variety of colors and styles that I have in each of my rooms particularly in the Den. The wire brushed white oak blends so well with the gray tones on my walls, sectional, and decor. The new floors also motivated me to stencil the wall. Although it was time-consuming I love how it turned out.  The color on the walls and in the stencil design is called Web Gray from SW.

Here’s some before and afters to see how the floors completely change the space.

And since we all love a good before and after…here you go.

The Game Room

I wasn’t sure how I would feel about not seeing the black and white checkered tile in the game room. What tile? 🙂 I love how the floors just flow so well from room to room.  This space is where my kids hang out to play video games, and watch tv. Not a bad space to spend their teen years in! What’s even better is how durable these waterproof floors will be for any spills that may happen in here or walking in from the pool wet…which they do all.the.time. It’s hard to believe, but there aren’t many rules for keeping my new Raintree flooring clean. With waterproof flooring, it’s safe to sweep, vacuum, use a wet swiffer, and mop.

Before I get to the good stuff here’s a before and after of the space.

To complete the room transformation I painted the wood wall white so the tones in the wood of the floor and on the wall wouldn’t clash. I also picked up a $20 table on FB marketplace and gave it a bit of a makeover. It makes a great space for the kids to play games and have snacks…and because the 100% waterproof floors, I don’t have to sweat the spills!

Kids bedrooms

I love the feel of carpet but I like how fresh and clean hardwood feels. Although each of the spaces has accent rugs, I honestly love the look of the bare wood and how warm it makes each space feel.  I’m still doing a few tweaks in the kid’s bedrooms and will share more when I finish up. For now, I wanted to show you how amazing each of the bedrooms looks with the new floors. My kids informed me that they aren’t missing the 17-year-old carpet either!

I can’t say enough how much I love the new Raintree waterproof hardwood floors from Twenty & Oak.  They are perfect for my active household, the kids, and our pets too!

  1. Your new floors look amazing. Ours are waterproof too and that really is a game changer. Especially with a pool. You are going to love them.

  2. Wowza! I know you will love that floor for decades! Looks hardy and just what I need around here! Even though the yard has grass, underneath is nothing but sand. It gets everywhere. Bleh.
