Snippets of Spring home tour at Duke Manor Farm including spring decor ideas for your indoor and outdoor living spaces

Welcome to my snippets of Spring at Duke Manor Farm home tour. If you are joining me from Rhoda’s at Southern Hospitality a big welcome from another gal from the peach state. If you missed Rhoda’s Kitchen and Family room tour you can see it here. A special thanks for Marty at a Stroll Thru Life who coordinates this special event each year. Between a bunch of rainy days here in North Georgia and preparing to be housebound for several weeks, I was able to get a few spaces in the house ready for Spring. I must admit the last week has been a bit unsettling with the Coronavirus and the anxiety we all may feel with such an precedent event. My prayers for everyone’s health and safety. Since most of us are landlocked in our homes exercising social distancing, what better time to get inspired with a week of pretty spring homes. You will find the full line-up and links at the bottom of this post.

For this years spring tour ( click here to see last years) I decided to focus on the areas that we are enjoying the most this season, along with snippets of spring throughout the rest of Duke Manor Farm.

Front Porch

By far the most favorite place to sit outside during the spring season. Other then some new planters and flowers, it’s business as usual on the front porch. The rockers that we got last season at Lowes are still getting a lot of use out here. Funny how I was anti rocker on the front porch for so long 🙂 I am using the same pillows that I used here to soften up the wood rockers. I have yet to plant the spring flowers that I picked up last week but will plant a few petunias with the ivy’s in the planter with the gardenia bush. Since I am using pink flowers in the planters and in the front beds, I used some pink faux flowers in the wreaths that I got last spring season.  Simply cut the stems to a desired length and just insert into the wreath base. That easy! These pink and white peonies look so realistic, don’t they? For more of my wreath ideas during the Spring season, click here.

Side Porch..Friends Entry

This entrance is between the main porch and the garage. Commonly called  a ‘Breezeway’ or  ‘Friends Entry’ it tends to mimic whatever I have going on on the front porch. So when it comes to planters, pillows and wreath the look is generally the same.

Screen Porch

During the spring season we use this space as a family room. We recently put a TV out here and I painted the ceiling since you saw it on my last tour. A few new plants and some pillow swapping and this space is good to go for the season.
