My favorite non-traditional Spring Wreath idea is a basket filled with fresh plants and flowers from the season.

Every year I look forward to Spring and the chance to hang  fresh and pretty wreaths on the doors. A few years back I decided to do something a little less traditional and predictable from years past. I created a living basket filled with fresh plants and flowers and hung that on the door. It has been one of my favorites ever since. 

This year I intend to do the same and will probably head to the local garden center this weekend to put something together. You can see this idea and how easy it was to assemble here.
