Twinkling Light Night Tour

There is something so magical about twinkling lights at night around the holidays. It evokes such a calm and peacefulness that just fills the soul. Throughout the month I have snapped a few shots of Duke Manor Farm at night to share with you. Hopefully, it will inspire you to light a few candles, shut off the lights, and fill your own home with the same calm and peacefulness.

Family Room

We put our Family tree in this corner so you can get a view from either the kitchen area or the family room.

Downstairs Den

I’m not sure we have had overhead lighting on throughout the month of December. The magical glow down here is so pretty. After the holidays I will keep the string lights in the glass jars to keep that same glow going throughout the year. If the kids have their way, they would keep the tree up as well.

Screen Porch

This is the first time I have put a tree up on the screen porch. I only wish I would have done it years ago.  I especially love all the darkness at night in the backyard with this one little tree glowing in the corner.

I hope you enjoyed the Twinkling Light night tour. If you missed the holiday tour during the day ….with the lights on, you can see that here and here.

My wish for each of you and your family is to have a very Merry Christmas. Thank you so much for following Duke Manor Farm throughout the year. I appreciate you guys always showing up and supporting me and the blog.

Big holiday hug,

  1. Laura, your home is always gorgeous but I’m with you ~ I love turning off all the lights and just having the glow of the tree and other fairy lights! I agree that it feels very peaceful. That’s one reason I love having a small tree in my bedroom, only those lights on at night. I can’t stand overhead/ceiling lights and use only lamps & fairy lights. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home and I wish you and yours a very merry and blessed Christmas!
