Before and after Bathroom makeovers

Some of my best before and after bathroom makeovers from the last 20 years at Duke Manor Farm.

Who doesn’t love a good before and after? We have lived in our home at Duke Manor Farm for about 20 years. During that time, we have done our share of room makeovers. I have gathered up a few of my favorites from around Duke Manor Farm. Because we have done quite a few, I am breaking it up by room. Today I am sharing some of my bathroom makeover projects.

Guest Bathroom

This small guest bath got a full makeover with new flooring, walls, and countertop. We had a few issues that needed to be addressed so it prompted the makeover sooner than later. You can read all about this makeover and why I would think long and hard about doing hardwoods in a bathroom again here.

Gameroom Bathroom

I’m not sure what I was thinking when I painted the walls of this bathroom red…yikes! Truth be told this bathroom is across the hall from our home theater.  I wanted to resemble something theater-ish.  I think the only thing I got right was the black and white checkered floor, which I still love 20 years later. Oh, painting over a color like red is a nightmare.

Master bathroom

This was the latest bathroom makeover that I finished. Although it was long overdue,  I am pleased with the results. The goal was to provide us with a bathroom that would get us through until we can do a full bathroom renovation in this space.

I hope these makeovers help to inspire you when you are ready for your next bathroom makeover. Remember it doesn’t always have to take big bucks to totally transform a space.
