How to Restore Hardwood Floors Without Sanding: My Go-To Floor Polish That Works Wonders

Is your hardwood floor looking dull, scratched, or just plain tired? You’re not alone—and the good news is, you don’t have to sand or refinish to bring it back to life. I am going to show you how to restore hardwood floors without sanding….and for less than $20.00.

I’ve been using a product called Rejuvenate for years to polish and refresh our well-loved wood floors here at Duke Manor Farm—and it continues to be my go-to product..

I recently gave our small work out space a refresh with some paint and decided to polish the floors up while I had everything out of the room.

I first shared our results with Rejuvenate way back in this post from 2018, when our then 15-year-old floors got their first application with this product. Now, with a few more years (and scuffs) behind us, I’m still using it—and still loving the results.

✨ Why I Use a Floor Restorer Like Rejuvenate

Let’s face it sanding and refinishing hardwood floors is expensive, messy, and time-consuming. Rejuvenate’s floor restorer and polish offers an easier, more affordable way to:

  • Bring back shine to dull hardwood floors
  • Fill in fine scratches and scuff marks
  • Seal and protect the wood from future wear
  • Extend the life of your floors between professional refinishing
  • Make old floors look like new in under an hour

🪵 What Kinds of Floors Can You Use It On?

Rejuvenate works great on:

  • Sealed hardwood floors
  • Engineered wood
  • Laminate
  • Luxury vinyl plank (LVP)
  • Even tile, depending on the formula you choose

Ours are oak hardwood floors that are over 20 years old now—and they still shine up beautifully with this polish.

🧹 How I Apply Rejuvenate Floor Restorer

Here’s my quick routine for restoring my floors at Duke Manor Farm:

  1. Vacuum thoroughly to get rid of dust and debris
  2. Lightly clean with a damp mop and let dry. I use a wet Swiffer
  3. Apply Rejuvenate using a microfiber applicator pad
  4. Let it dry (usually within 45 minutes)

That’s it! No special equipment. No harsh chemical smell. And no sore arms from sanding…I get that from lifting weights. Here is the floor right after I applied it.

🏡 Why It’s Perfect for a Lived-In Home

Our floors see a lot of traffic—especially in this workout space. Rejuvenate gives me the fresh, polished look I love without needing to do a full on floor refinish. It doesn’t make the floor slippery or sticky, and doesn’t leave a smell in the room.

📌My Rejuvenate floor restorer review

If you’re wondering how to make your old hardwood floors shine without breaking the bank, give Rejuvenate a try. It’s been my go-to floor restorer for over 7 years—and it still gives our floors that just-finished look without a huge hassle.

As soon as I get everything back into this room, I will share the reveal. Stay tuned!
