Add Orange lights

Draping orange colored lights always seems to give off a Halloween vibe glow. I picked up a few packages a few years ago and always drag them out each year for a cool, Halloween effect…that takes minimal effort. You can either string them up or place them under some white webbing, which I get at the Dollar Store.

Make a Semi Creepy Wreath

You can find all the details here  on how I made this semi creepy but chic black wreath. If you have black burlap it will take you no time at all to put together. I spray painted my burlap so it took a bit longer. The faux flowers were easy to find at the Dollar Store.

DIY Pillow

This little ‘Boo’ pillow was so easy to make with materials that I already had around the house. I basically placed some wood letters on top of an unused pillow and spray painted it orange. Let it dry and then place anywhere in the house for fun whimsical Halloween decor. You can see the entire project here.

Tasty Treats

My kids love marshmallows….and sprinkles. I love anything that takes no prep or extra time in the kitchen. These candy coated marshmallows are a perfect treat to satisfy them and me. Besides being a party favorite they look so festive on the treat table. Check out all the details on this and a few other favorites that I like to whip up at Halloween here.

Simple decor idea

Nothing could be easier then a Frankenstein head surrounded by mini skulls….on a cake pedestal. Sometimes all you need are simple little decorations to give off the full vibe of Halloween. I purchased the head and skulls at the Dollar Store.
